Daily Meditations: Christ In Disguise

Throughout The Bible we see that God prefers to use men and women of low estate, yet the people of this world prefer to relate with men and women of high estate and look down on those with low estate.

When God was looking for a woman to bare His Son, Yeshu’a, He chose a woman of low estate “For he hath regarded the low estate of his handmaiden: for, behold, from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed” – Luke 1:48.

Yeshu’a (Jesus Christ) came physically into this world through a woman of low estate. What should that teach us?

In The Gospels, He says “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me” – Matthew 25:40.

Yeshu’a still visits the earth in disguise. But He will not come through men of high estate because as He said in Matthew 11:29 ” I am meek and lowly in heart”.

So don’t ignore and maltreat your house helps, gate men, office cleaners and drivers. Rather do what Romans 12:16 says and “mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate”.

For when you do, you have a greater likelihood of meeting Yeshu’a (Jesus) in disguise.
