Daily Meditations: Two Types Of Beliefs

Must read

Many people see the good things God has done for others and they believe God, but God is actually looking for people who believe Him even before they have seen good things.

In John 2:23-24 we read, “Now when he was in Jerusalem at the passover, in the feast day, many believed in his name, when they saw the miracles which he did. But Jesus did not commit himself unto them”.

Jesus did not commit Himself to them because He commits Himself only to those who have not seen yet believe. In John 20:29, Jesus told Thomas “Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed”.

From this we understand that when we see and believe we are not blessed in the proportion of those who believe without seeing. So, to get the benefits that The a Bible promises, don’t look for proof. Simply believe The Bible’s promises and you will become proof for others to believe.
