Ex England international, David Beckham will relish the challenge of playing under his former club manager, Sir Alex Ferguson in a charity match come November 2015.

Former Manchester United manager, Sir Alex Ferguson will manage a Great Britain and Ireland team which will be captained by David Beckham.

The Great Britain and Ireland XI will face a World XI which will be captained by French legend. Zinedine Zidane and coached by former Real Madrid manager, Carlo Ancelotti.

The funds raised from ticket sales for the match slated for November 14, 2015 at Old Trafford will be donated to UNICEF.

“Everyone knows I retired three years ago and I never thought I’d be getting my boots out again and playing.

“Football is such a powerful tool and to have Zidane on the field, Sir Alex Ferguson and Carlo Ancelotti in the stands, I think people are going to love it.

“This match gives me the perfect opportunity to raise awareness and vital funds to help reach the children who need it most,” an excited Beckham stated.
