The Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Youth Movement, Greg Okwuozo has lampooned party chieftains who decamped from the party following the party’s loss at the general election.
Speaking via a press conference in Owerri, Okwuozo said those who have chosen to defect are cowards who have “refused to remain in the party and consolidate democracy in the country”.
Okwuozo went on to give examples like Senator Ifeanyi Ararume, Jerry Chukwueke, and Humphrey Anumudu who achieved political success on the platform of the party describing their defection from the party as unfortunate and shameful.
The youth leader added that the defectors were hypocrites and false prophets that should never be entrusted any leadership position.
