Must read

[dropcap]A[/dropcap]t a time in Nigeria when opportunities are few and far between, and when mentorship is fast becoming a scarce commodity, one man has steadily been blazing the trail in talent creation for the country’s youth. He is Mr Valentine Chineto Ozigbo, business mogul, philanthropist, and immediate past president/chief executive officer of the humongous Transnational Corporation of Nigeria, Transcorp.

In Ozigbo, a soft spoken, unassuming, tenacious and focused gentleman, the country, especially his home state, Anambra, is enjoying a breath of fresh air. It’s so fresh that our youth have now started inhaling a new kind of hope that says all is not lost.

But is anyone surprised at what Ozigbo is currently powering?

Actually, there are no surprises, Ozigbo himself being a youth.

Fresh from successfully concluding the 2020 version of Freestyle Football, both in Nigeria and on the continent, Ozigbo who had earlier organized the Oja/Mbem and Ogene competitions for the youth, is at it again.

He has unveiled another brain wave of his, “Anambra Talent UNLOCKED”.

This and previous ideas are part of his burning desire to motivate and encourage a sense of industry among the youth by exploring their innate abilities.

Hear him, ” My earnest desire is to create a spark of genius in my people; a spark that will ignite them to explore their creative abilities.

“By so doing, Ndi Anambra will use their talent to create a better society for us all.”

Ozigbo created this new platform with a view to giving opportunity to young people with innate talents to express them.

Thus he’s splashing N500, 000 to the winners of Anambra Talent UNLOCKED which will include drama, dance, music, and comedy.

Ozigbo understands that a proper foundation for the youth determines the progress or otherwise of the country.

Ozigbo is not looking back but is fired up by that fierce passion to help the youth to attain their ultimate desires.

Surely, the omens are good in Anambra.
