Police officers in Holly, Hill Florida allege that a woman involved in a scuffle with a Family Dollar store
clerk employed her child as a weapon in the fight.
Two kids, a toddler and a child who appeared to be around 7 or 8 years old, were with the mother when the scuffle ensued on Wednesday at around 5pm. The toddler was being pushed in the shopping cart.
Police allege that when the woman was challenged for stealing items from the store, she jabbed the store clerk and demanded that her older child join in the f!ght.
“She tried to h!t me with her car,” the clerk told the 911 dispatcher. “She had two kids with her. One of them was about 7 or 8 and screamed at the child ‘Get her’ and she h!t me too.”
Then the woman allegedly hopped in her car and attempted to use her vehicle as a weapon against the store clerk. She reportedly chased the clerk and came close to hitting the clerk at least two times.
“She started swinging on me and tried to h!t me with her car,” the clerk said.
Although police say they have found the car that a woman was driving in Daytona Beach, they have not located the woman.
