A man who was receiving oral sex while driving hit and killed a man riding his bicycle on the main road, it has been alleged.
The driver, Randy Joe Allen, swerved and killed Terry Lamunt Ross, a 49-year-old homeless man.
An eyewitness saw the attack and was able to describe the green Ford-F250 truck which was seen leaving the scene of the crash.
Deputies found the damaged truck at a local bar complete with blood stains.
Allen told police he had struck a stop road sign or a guard rail while driving on Highway 92 with a female passenger.
She was interviewed and told officers that she had just met the driver at a bar after a few drinks left with him.
The female passenger then told dumbfounded deputies that she was performing oral sex on Allen while he was driving and heard a loud bump. Allen told her that he hit a road sign and continued driving.
She said she did not see what Allen hit and believed his story.
Allen was taken to Polk County Jail and charged with one count of Leaving the Scene of a Crash with Death.
The suspect could face additional charges pending results of a blood test.
