Super Eagles captain, Vincent Enyeama will play no part for the Super Eagles of Nigeria when the country’s national team files out against Tanzania on Saturday, September 5, 2015 in a 2017 African Cup of Nations qualifier match.
The Eagles first choice goalkeeper asked to be withdrawn from the match due to family.
This was confirmed by the Eagles coach, Sunday Oliseh during a media parley on Thursday. The Super Eagles media officer, Toyin Ibitoye made the announcement. Enyimba FC’s Femi Thomas has been called upon as a late replacement for the Eagles skipper. The other goalkeeper in camp is Sunshine Star’s Ikechukwu Ezenwa.
Wolverhampton Wanderer goalkeeper, Carl Ikeme may now be in line for his Super Eagles debut come Saturday.
