The All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign coordinator in Cross River State, Mr. U. Oko, along with his supporters have dumped the opposition party in favour of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)
Speaking to a crowd of PDP supporters on Thursday, March 26, 2015 in Bekwarra area of the state, Oko said he decided to return to the PDP so as to support President Goodluck Jonathan as he had performed well in office.
Receiving Oko was the PDP candidate for House of Representatives in Bekwarra/Obudu/Obanliku Federal Constituency, Legor Idagbo, who commended him for being courageous enough to take the step, adding that the PDP umbrella was big enough to house everyone, unlike the broom.
Idagbo further said that it was apparent that President Jonathan had the hearts of the people and would triumph in the presidential election of Saturday, March 28, 2015.
