The All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu has declared himself the ‘help Nigerians need’.

Tinubu, who left the country on September 24, returned on Thursday, October 6, 2022.

The last time he was seen attending a public event physically was on September 22, when he met with members of the Pentecostal Bishops’ Forum in Abuja.

During his time away, there were concerns over his whereabouts, especially after he missed the signing of the peace accord for the 2023 elections.

Kashim Shettima, the running mate to Tinubu, represented him at that event, sparking a debate about the status of his health.

Speaking shortly after his return, Tinubu said he is “actively” back to the country.

“The trip was very good, I enjoyed my break. I’m happy to be back to my fatherland. Nigerians should expect an intelligent – ability to think and perform,” he said.

“Nigerians should expect that the help they need is here. The hope that is almost jittering is back.

“I’m back actively back to the country of patriotism, dedication, capacity – not the fact that Nigerian has failed. This country, this continent is the greatest of all.

“If it is an assurance that we need, we will definitely make a better country out of it all.”
