Popular Hotelier Assassinated In Delta

Unknown gunmen have reportedly assassinated the owner of one Widisag Hotel, located in Udu council area of Delta state, alongside a friend.

It was gathered that the incident occurred at about 2.20pm on Sunday, December 13, 2020, close to First Bank off Udu Road.

Details surrounding the incident were not clear as of the time of filing this report.

The murdered hotelier is identified as Chief Elvis Otedafe Onojerame, also known as Prince Kasuwa.

Gory photos sighted by The Nation show that the hotelier was shot in his Benz vehicle.

When contacted, the Delta State Police Command confirmed the incident, but could not give further information on it.

Onome Onovwakpoyeya, the Police public relations officer, PPRO, said “it is true. There was an assassination. Yes, two people.”
