The Islamic State group (ISIS) on have abducted eight journalists and media workers attached to a local television station in Mosul, Iraq, reports say.
According to a source, who spoke on Sunday, October 26, five of the workers were captured early in the day, while the other three were kidnapped on Friday, October 24, 2014.

Of the eight, seven work for Sama Mosul satellite channel and included four reporters and cameramen, two technicians and an administrator.
Reports say the insurgents invaded the homes of the captives in different districts of Mosul, taking them along as hostages.
