MANCHESTER, United Kingdom — Nigerian pastor Jerry Eze led thousands of worshippers in prayer at Manchester United’s Old Trafford stadium on Saturday, as his global NSPPD movement held its 2026 United Kingdom Prayer Conference.

The gathering, organised by Streams of Joy International, brought worshippers from across Britain and other countries to the stadium for hours of prayer, worship, and preaching.

Old Trafford, the home of Manchester United, has a seating capacity of more than 74,000, according to the club.

Organisers did not immediately publish an independently verified attendance figure for the prayer conference.

The event was held on Saturday, September 26, 2026, with admission free but advance registration required.

The official Eventbrite listing showed the conference as sold out.

Photographs and video from the stadium showed large sections of the stands occupied by worshippers, with participants gathering on the pitch area as well.

According to news reports, the event drew believers from across the United Kingdom and beyond.

Gospel Ministers Join Eze at Old Trafford

The conference also featured Nigerian gospel singers Sunmisola Agbebi, Mercy Chinwo, Dunsin Oyekan, and Kaestrings.

Eze is the lead pastor of Streams of Joy International and founder of New Season Prophetic Prayers and Declarations, commonly known as NSPPD.

The ministry describes NSPPD as a global online prayer platform, while its prayer conferences bring followers together for in-person worship and prayer gatherings in different countries.

Its widely used declaration is: “What God Cannot Do Does Not Exist.”

Saturday’s conference placed the Nigerian-led prayer movement inside one of Britain’s best-known sporting venues, which Manchester United describes as the “Theatre of Dreams”.
