The Kogi State commissioner of police, Mr. Paul Okafor, has allegedly been kidnapped on Tuesday, June 2, 2015.
The spate of kidnap in the state is on the increase in recent times.
The High Court Judge, Justice Samuel Obayomi was kidnapped on Monday, May 25, 2015 followed by the kidnapping of the state’s commissioner for lands and housing, Steven Mayaki, by unidentified gunmen on Sunday, May 31, 2015.
Details of the police commissioners kidnap are still hazy at the moment.
The state police force is yet to release a statement in that regard.
