Lagos state has experienced flooding in some areas due to heavy rainfall in the early hours of Thursday, June 18, 2010.

According to the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA), some of the places in Lagos experiencing flash flood include: Ikeja – Along Lagos Abeokuta Expressway – Ifako and Oworo INW 3MB – Otedola Bridge – Gbagada – Osborne – Alfred Rewane – Iju Road – Abule Egba – Odo Eran/Wemco Junction.
