Barcelona sought vengeance against Athletic Bilbao on Sunday against Athletic Bilbao after losing out 1-5 (on aggregate) to them in the Spanish Super Cup and they did get their revenge.
The Spanish giants won Athletic Bilbao 1-0 in the opening game of their La Liga campaign.
The only goal of the game came through Uruguayan striker, Luis Suarez early on in the second half.
Athletic Bilbao didn’t just sit back and watch as they fought hard to level the scores but Barcelona ran away with the slim victory.
