Man Stabs Brother To Death Over A Plate Of Soup In Edo

57-year-old Sunday Osemwekhe had allegedly stabbed his brother to death because he took soup from his pot without a prior permission from him in Edo state.

Officials of the Edo State Police command disclosed that Osemwekhe was so angry after he discovered that some of his soup was missing.

An argument reportedly broke out between the deceased and the suspect after the latter accused the former of taking the soup without his knowledge.

It was in the course of the argument that the accused pulled the machete and stabbed his brother, according to World Wide Weird News reports on Friday, January 16, 2015.

The deceased was rushed to a nearby hospital where he subsequently died due to the severity of the injuries he sustained from the attack.

During a police interrogation, the suspect who confessed to committing the crime said he was stabbed his brother out of anger over his missing soup.
