Melania Trump Living In ‘Alternate Reality’ Amid Husband’s Legal Woes, Source

Must read

FLORIDA, USA – Former US First Lady Melania Trump has been keeping to herself at the couple’s Palm Beach home as her husband, Donald Trump, awaits a possible indictment over an alleged hush money payment made to adult film star Stormy Daniels in 2016.

Despite still socialising with friends, Melania remains angry about the Daniels accusations and does not want to hear the alleged hush money payment mentioned, according to sources close to the couple.

The source, which spoke to PEOPLE Magazine, states that while Melania is aware of who her husband is, she continues to lead her life in Palm Beach and keeps herself upbeat with her family and a few close friends.

Melania is reportedly upset by the Daniels accusations since 2018 and remains uninterested in discussing the matter.

Meanwhile, the former president is actively campaigning for another term in the White House and is facing a grand jury investigation into the alleged payment. However, the former first lady does not sympathise with her husband’s plight, and she wants to ignore the issue and hopes it will pass, according to the sources.

Despite living in separate quarters at Mar-a-Lago, Melania and Donald still spend time together, such as attending events and eating dinner. Melania also keeps busy with her family, including her mother and father, who also lives at Mar-a-Lago, and their son Barron, who recently celebrated his 17th birthday.

A spokesperson for Melania did not respond to the magazine’s request for comment.

According to the former president’s lawyer, Joseph Tacopina, Trump will surrender to face criminal charges should he be indicted.  And if that happens, another source tells PEOPLE, Melania will be just fine.

Donald Trump’s legal troubles stem from a $130,000 payment made to adult film star Stormy Daniels in 2016, just before the 2016 presidential election.

Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, claimed that the payment was made in exchange for her silence about an extramarital affair she had with Trump in 2006, shortly after Melania Trump gave birth to the couple’s son Barron.

While Trump and his former lawyer Michael Cohen initially denied the affair and the payment, Cohen later admitted that he had paid Daniels out of his own pocket and was reimbursed by Trump.

The former president has since acknowledged the payment but has continued to deny the affair and any connection between the payment and his campaign. The hush money payment is now the subject of a grand jury investigation, and Trump has speculated publicly that he could face arrest and indictment over the matter.

Donald Trump’s legal issues have not stopped him from running for another term as president. Despite the controversy surrounding the alleged hush money payment, he remains popular among his base and continues to hold rallies around the country.

His campaign has focused on issues such as immigration, national security, and the economy, and he has promised to “Make America Great Again” if elected.

As the 2024 presidential election approaches, it remains to be seen how Trump’s legal issues will impact his candidacy and whether he will face any legal repercussions over the alleged hush money payment.
