A 34-year old woman identified as Jillian Meredith McCabe from Oregon had been arraigned by cops in Newport for throwing her 6-year-old son London McCabe off the Yaquina Bay Bridge.
It was learnt that after committing the crime, McCabe purportedly turned herself in by calling the 911 and divulging the incident to the dispatchers.
World Wide Weird News reported on Friday, November 7, 2014 that police and firefighters searched the water below the bridge and found the body of around 10:00 p.m.
News of the heinous act shocked family members who speculated frustration to have been the cause of such act. Some sources explained that she had catered for her deceased son who was autistic and nonverbal together with his father Matt McCabe, who has multiple sclerosis.
A recent write up by the irked mother in a blog said, “Matt went from being the sole breadwinner and provider to not, in a matter of two weeks. I am scared and I am reaching out.”
The deceased uncle, Andrew McCabe said,“They have not had much luck.
Meanwhile, the woman was charged with aggravated murder and manslaughter.
