The mother of the former Deputy Speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly who is currently member of the House of Representatives, Hon Remmy Hassan has been released by her kidnappers.
She was reportedly released in the early hours of Friday, October 10, 2014. She was captured on Wednesday, October 1, 2014 in her house located at Omu-Ijebu, Ogun state.
According to our source, the kidnappers initially demanded N50 million but it is not clear if the family paid the ransom or not.
