Mohammed Abubakar of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has emerged winner of the governorship election in Bauchi State.
According to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Returning Officer, Professor Mohammed Farouk, Abubakar polled 654, 934 votes to beat Auwal Jatau of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) who won 282, 650 votes.Abubakar won in 19 of the 20 local government areas in the state.
