#NigeriaDecides: APC’s Governor Shettima Wins Borno State

Governor Kashim Shettima of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has taken an unassailable lead in the governorship election held in Borno State will the result of one local government area – Bama – still awaited.

The results as announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) show that Govenor Shettima had already polled 610,352 votes, beating the Peoples Democratic Party’s Gambo Lawan, who scored 34,005 votes.
