The Golden Eaglets of Nigeria beat their Argentine counterparts 2-1 in a Pre-World Cup friendly match which took place at the Argentina Football Association centre in Buenos Aires on Wednesday, October 7, 2015.
Nigeria’s first goal came through Victor Osimhen in the first half before Funso Bamgboye doubled the lead five minutes into the second half.
It wasn’t long before the Argentine side took advantage of a defensive error by the Nigerian defence to lob the ball over substitute goalkeeper, Udoh Akpan.
Both teams are preparing for the Under-17 World Cup which comes up in Chile later this year.
