The Nigerian U-17 team, Golden Eaglets on Friday, September 4 won the Junior Selecao of Brazil 2-1 in the ongoing four-nation tournament in Korea. The Nigerian team scored both goals in the first half through Kingsley Michael and Chukwudi Agor.
The first goal came through Michael in the 20th minute after Brazilian goalkeeper, Juliano has punched a powerful shot by Victor Oshimen. The Eaglets’ second goal came in the 32nd minute when Chukwudi latched on to a pass from Osimhen.
Brazil’s only goal came in the second half through an own goal by David Enogela.
The Golden Eaglets led by coach Emmanuel Amuneke drew their first game, 1-1 against South Korea on Wednesday in the ongoing Suwon Continental Cup international youth football tournament.
