Normalcy Returns To Damaturu After Terrorist Attacks

Must read

Governor Ibrahim Gaidam of Yobe state has restated that normalcy has returned to the state capital, Damaturu, after last Monday’s attack on the town where over 100 persons were believed to have been killed, insisting that there has been no other siege on the town ever since.

Reacting to a news report by a Lagos based radio station, Radio Continental, which was culled by few online news media that Damaturu was attacked on Wednesday by the Boko Haram insurgents, Gaidam said: “This report is totally false and unfounded. There was no attack or incident that threatened security in Damaturu on Wednesday.”
