Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Senator Musiliu Obanikoro on Monday, April 13, 2015 congratulated the Governor-elect of his native Lagos State, Akinwunmu Ambode, urging the people of the state to support him as he steers the affairs of he state for the next for years.
Amode of the All Progressives Congress (APC) had defeated the candidate of Obanikoro’s Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Jimi Agbaje in the gubernatorial elections held on Saturday, April 11, 2015.
Congratulating Ambode via his official Facebook page, Obanikoro wrote:
“I congratulate Akinwunmi Ambode on his election into the office of Governor of Lagos State.
“I urge Lagosians to support the new Governor-Elect Akinwunmi Ambode as he directs the affairs of our state in the years ahead.”
