Open Letter To Mr. President: Nigerian Youth Are The Best In The World [MUST READ]

Must read

Sir,

Let me quickly acknowledge your contributions to the Nigeria project ever since you assumed power almost three years ago despite your old age and health challenge. You have done your best at every point in time but it’s obvious that this job is becoming very hard to execute, and this call for concern among every responsible citizens of this great nation.

Few days ago, while you were answering questions during a Commonwealth Business Forum in London which presented you with uncommon opportunity to project Nigeria to the entire world, you intentionally de-marketing Nigerian youths as worst product while canvassing for investors in an international fora  Mr. President, this is saddening, nefarious, unexpected and disheartening.

It’s crystal clear that your statement was a big insult to the collective youth of Nigeria who strive hard every day and night in order to make life meaningful for themselves. The fact remains that the larger percentage of Nigerian youths are hardworking, dedicated and also committed to make Nigeria better in all ramifications. Nigerian youths have recorded tremendous success in major areas of lives despite hard and hash economic policies of any government at any point in time. The youth of Nigeria are specially made, they are talented, creative, intelligent and responsible. Our nation’s youths have demonstrated doggedness, and are always found every where doing everything legally possible that could make them great in the future. Nigerian youths are unique specie who never because of the failure of any government fold their hands and doing nothing while expecting comfortable life!

Your excellency, it’s an abuse of our sensibility as young people, who ought to have been held in a very high esteem as the glorious future of our country for you to have referred to us as lazy and uneducated in an international gathering. To put the record straight, there has been no time in history where the Nigerian youths demanded for free things from her government, NEVER! For a very long time ago, more than four decades, Nigerian youths have been struggling through thick and thin in order to make a life!

Just like the bible says, “Out of the abundance of heart, mouth speaks”. Mr. President, you have x-rated an act of irresponsibility and emptiness when it comes to reasoning on critical issues. Your utterances has showed your incompetence once again! It’s a big disgrace to our Nation and also a big embarrassment to all youth put together.

It’s a known fact that no country in the whole universe is without blemish, ever since the time of creation, nations and people have been facing serous challenges. As a matter of fact, that is while there is an institution of government put in place to look into all these and proffer solution from time to time. No matter what the situation may look like, it’s a duty of every sensible and responsible leader to create a blissful atmosphere for his people and protect their interest at all time not subjecting them to international disgrace.

At this juncture, I want you to apologise to all Nigerian youths and withdraw that cocky statement before it’s too late.

I am proud of the Nigerian youths, for we are the best in the world. Nigerian youths are hardworking, intelligent, responsible, creative, talented, resilient, productive, serious, industrious, reliable, brilliant, law abiding, and resourceful!

We are the hope of the future!

God bless Nigeria!I
