Fake Pastor Arrested For N3.1 Million Fraud In Ogun

ABEOKUTA— The Ogun State Police Command, on Tuesday, March 11 2014 paraded a fake pastor, Ndubuisi Ignatius, accused of defrauding his client to the tune of  N3, 190, 000.

Ignatius allegedly used the disguise of a spiritual father to hold one James Nwosu, living at Agbara in Ado Odo Ota Local Government Area of Ogun State, hostage and he robbed  him of the said amount.

38 other suspects were paraded for allegedly engaging in various criminal activities across the state.

The Commissioner of Police, Ikemefuna Okoye, while parading the 39 suspected criminals, disclosed that the fake pastor, who had been a spiritual father to Nwosu’s family for over six months, was arrested on February 25.

Okoye reportedly said that the fake man of God had confessed to the crime he was accused of, and that he would be charged to court after the completion of investigation on the matter.
