The State Criminal Investigation Department, Yaba, Lagos State on Saturday January 11th 2014 released popular pastor, Sign Fireman.
Pastor Ofuche Ukoha popularly known as Sign Fireman of Perfect Christianity Mission, Surulere, Lagos, was arrested in connection with a ritual murder scandal has been released on bail.

Fireman’s arrest came after 18-year-old Ikechukwu Egbo, who is a member of Fireman’s church, was arrested by the police for strangling a 12-year-old girl, Bose, while trying to obtain faeces from her.

Fireman was released on bail on Saturday evening after the police investigated further and found inconsistencies in his accusers account of what happened.
Egbo’s mother, Mrs Esther Egbo spoke to reporters on Thursday January 9th 2014. She said they are members of the Badagry branch of Fireman’s church and have never met the Pastor personally. She said her son had been arrested four different times by the police for attempted rape and had even been charged to court and was only released on December 10, 2013.
