RIVERS, Nigeria — A man known as Kinikanwo Ojindah, popularly called Agala, was fatally shot on Sunday, May 28, 2023, by unidentified gunmen in Ogbakiri community, Emohua Local Government Area, Rivers State.

The incident occurred on Sunday, May 28, 2023, in Ojindah’s apartment. The perpetrators reportedly introduced themselves as representatives of the “government” before opening fire.

They remembered Ojindah as a peaceful individual and urged authorities at all levels to bring his killers to justice. Both leaders emphasized the need for enhanced security measures to protect lives and property in the area.

“We want the government to come to our aid. We don’t know if the people that killed him will come back to the community,” Kamalu said.
