The Internet can officially close up shop: Demi Lovato has won the selfie race.
The “Heart Attack” singer snapped a photo of herself with President Bill Clinton at the unite4:humanity Gala on Thursday, Feb. 27. The excited star posted the photo without taking the time to edit it, saying, “Too excited to filter this… NO BIG DEAL – #Selfieswiththeprez…. Bill Clinton – so nice to meet you!!!!”
Clearly, the novelty of the run–in was not lost on Lovato. Who knows? Maybe #Selfieswiththeprez will become the next trend–worthy hashtag.
If it does, Lovato is certainly off to a head start. After all, Julia Louis-Dreyfus’ attempted selfie from the same event with President Bill Clinton, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Cheryl Hines hardly keeps up.
