Holy Father! Pope Francis’ Motorcycle Sold For N55 Million At Charity Auction (PICTURED)

Must read

A mystery buyer paid $327,000 (N55 million) for Pope Francis’ Harley-Davidson motorcycle at a charity auction in Paris on Thursday.

The price tag includes taxes and fees, but it’s still well above the expected pre-sale price of $16,000, the Associated Press report. The funds will go to a Caritas Roma, a soup kitchen and hostel for the homeless in Rome.

Willie Davidson, a retired Harley-Davidson designer and grandson of one of the two founders, donated the 2013 Dyna Super Glide to the Pope, though it’s unclear if the Pontiff ever rode it.
