As collation of results continue across the country, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is set to turn the tables in Edo State as it currently leads the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 7 local government areas where collation has been completed.
Punch reports that at the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) office in Benin City, the Edo State capital where results are being collated, the results so far show the below:
Igueben LGA – PDP (6,854 votes) APC (5,692 votes)
Esan Central LGA – PDP (12,003 votes) APC (7,688 votes)
Etsako Central LGA – PDP (10,365 votes) APC (8,152 votes.)
Esan North East LGA PDP (19,440 votes) APC (6,151 votes)
Etsako East LGA – PDP (13,071 votes)Â APC (9,788 votes)
Esan West LGA (PDP 19,600 votes) APC (9,578 votes)
Ikpobaokha LGA – PDP (31,373 votes) APC (18,527 votes)
Owan East LGA –Â PDP (12,121 votes) APC (12,925 votes).
