As Nigerians await the final announcement of presidential elections, results tricking in have it that incumbent President Goodluck Jonathan of the Peoples Democratic Party is currently leading General Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress (APC) by a wide margin in elections held in Akwa Ibom State.

Uyo LGA – PDP 91,812 votes; APC 8,651 votes
Oron LGA – PDP 10,490 votes; APC 1,411 votes
Etinan LGA – PDP 27,284 votes; APC 1,865 votes
Mkpat Enin LGA – PDP 26,735 votes; APC 1,273 votes
Ika LGA – PDP 26,443 votes; APC 252 votes
Abak LGA – PDP 63,248 votes; APC 910 votes
Okobo LGA – PDP 29,470 votes; APC 2,223 votes
Eket LGA – PDP 29,655 votes; APC 1,513 votes.
