Must read

The gubernatorial candidate Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ogun State, Prince Gboyega Nasir Isiaka on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 predicted that Preisdent Goodluck Jonathan would garner the majority of votes in the state when the presidential elections hold on Saturday, March 28, 2015, adding that the PDP would also win in the National Assembly elections to be held on the same day.

Isiaka, who spoke to newsmen at a PDP sensitization rally in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital said the people of the state are wiser and would not fall for the antics of the APC, as the propaganda and sentiments which won hem votes in 2011 are no longer relevant.

Isiaka also added that the people of Ogun State saw no merit in the candidacy of General Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and were poised to vote against it.

He furher said: “Even as some credible polls gave victory to President Jonathan, the PDP has not relented in its efforts to ensure that Mr. President wins the election convincingly.

“We laughed at the polls that said Buhari will win in Ogun State as the wishful thinking of the sponsors of the polls. But unknown to them, Ogun people are already looking beyond the APC in the state because the party has disappointed them with unfulfilled promises and massive corruption going on in the state.”
