Dress it in any manner you will, the reasons why the British voted to leave Europe was simple. All the experts said it was economic suicide, they heard. They said it was about global village, they heard. They gave supreme reasons why Europe was better, they knew, but they held their peace. All commonsense reasons were given why being part of Europe made more sense … yet when the time came they voted their electoral Tsunami.

They knew that being part of Europe made more sense, for money, for travel, for culture, for defence – they knew … but when they looked up and saw the Muslim hordes that flooded Europe in the name of refugee, and Europe dictating to them, how many of these aliens they would take, they prefered to listen to the wise advice of Donald Trump … shut down this immigration for a while let us know who is the terrorist and who is not, and whether this kindness to Muslim refugees is a trojan horse carrying a time bomb.

The British did not have to make a gaffe like Donald Trump, who had to say clearly, we need to build a wall like the Israelis, to keep away Mexican criminals that flood our cities with drugs and crime as if we don’t have enough. The politically correct Left said Trump was being racist, and accused him of racism. But his truth was obvious. The easiest and most efficient way to police a long porous border, that was used by criminals to traffic drugs and people is to build a wall. Calling a spade a spade. Just like the Israelis who built a wall to stop those who sneaked into Israel with suicide suits.

But the British did not have to build a wall and scandalise the politically correct. They have the English Channel and that is wall and moat enough. They only had to pull out of Europe to save themselves the politically correct debate about the Muslim hordes invading Europe some truly as refugees, many as agents of migration, population and war Jihads.

Europe did not listen, but the British had had enough, they threw out the European bathwater not caring whether the baby went with it. They couched it under nice euphemisms like immigration policy, but that was being nice.
How do I know? I am British. I did not depend on CNN with Obamaesque political correctness that will not even call the enemy by name – radical Islam. I did not listen to the politically correct trying to prove that all religions are equally violent. I listened to the English in the countryside.

The Londonians with their immigrants may feel good about electing a Muslim Mayor but not so rural England. They saw 9/11, they saw 7/7, they saw the Paris and Brussels bombings. They decided like Trump to stop the Islamic trojan horse and spare themselves more handwringing and fruitless explanations.
The Americans are thinking…
How will Donald Trump benefit? It’s simple. People will not say much. They will hear it on the grapevine, through Facebook and add up and fill in the gaps – why the British gave up Europe rather than give in to Mad Mullahs. And like the English they will simply quietly decide to stop the trojan horse before the radical jihadis cross the Atlantic Ocean to stop their lives.

And we Southerners in Nigeria have neither walls nor channels nor oceans to protect us. We have been watching and listening. Time to start thinking and acting because the enemy has long been prepared.
