Former Destiny’s Child band member and R&B singer, Kelly Rowland lost mother, Doris Rowland Garrison on Tuesday, December 2, 2014.
The singer released a statement on her mother’s passing saying that her mother, who was 66 at the time of passing in Atlanta, Georgia, was an incredible soul who made countless sacrificed so she could be the person she (Rowland) is today.
Garrison died days before her birthday which would have been on Saturday and had one other child, Orlando, an elder brother to Kelly Rowland.
Rowland and her husband Tim Weatherspoon welcomed a baby boy, Titan Jewell in the their family last month.
