Real Madrid star player, Cristiano Ronaldo must have heaved a sigh of relief after his private jet, said to be worth $15million had crashed while attempting to land in Barcelona on Monday.
According to the reports, Ronaldo was not on board when the plane crashed at El Prat airport.
The plane was said to have a broken landing gear on impact, crashing and causing officials to close a runway at the airport.
The pilot is reported to have developed injuries that were minor. However, no one was seriously hurt.
The plane, a Gulfstream G200 which he bought last year, is often leased out to private clients, nevertheless, none of the ace friends or family was onboard during the crash.
