Must read

Nigeria’s Super Eagles started their CHAN campaign on Monday evening with a resounding 4-1 victory against the Mena of Niger. Surprisingly all goals of the match came in the second half.

Aba Warriors striker, Chisom Chikatara grabbed a hat-trick in the match.

Nigeria’s first goal came 30 seconds into the first half through Enugu Rangers’ attacking midfielder, Osas Okoro after he connected to Tunde Adeniji’s pass.

Chikatara connected to a pass from Okoro in the 74th minute. Six minutes later, Niger clawed one back through Zakari Adebayor.

Nigeria scored their third of the game almost immediately as Chikatara scored again after a brilliant exchange of passes between Aggrey and Okoro.

Despite missing the opportunity to grab his hat-trick on two occasions, Chikatara eventually made it happen after connecting to a pass from Aggrey in the final minute of additional time.

Nigeria’s next match comes up against Tunisia on Friday, January 22, 2016 at Stade Regional de Nyamirambo.
