BEAUTIFUL: Solange Makes First Red Carpet Appearance Since Fight With Jay Z (PHOTOS)

Must read

Solange Knowles, Singer  has made her first red carpert appearance after the brawl incident in an elevator with her inlaw, Jayz.

Beyonce’s little sister was all smiles at the CDFA party and managed to avoid fellow guest, designer Rachel Roy.

Solange Knowles was on her best behaviour at Monday night’s Council of Fashion Designers of America Awards, her first red carpet appearance since THAT fight with Jay Z.

The 27-year-old singer used the opportunity to show off her glamorous side (as opposed to her, er, scrappy side), and was all smiles in a stunning silver dress that surely would make fighting close to impossible.

Designer Rachel Roy – who was suggested to have been behind the family feud – was also in attendance at the event, but guests say the pair avoided each other and no lifts were entered.

The jaw-dropping footage from last month’s Met Gala after-party, obtained by gossip website TMZ.com, was captured by surveillance cameras inside an elevator, which appeared to show the rapper being attacked by Solange Knowles.

The footage shows Solange lunge at Jay Z before striking and kicking him while Beyonce looks on.

An unidentified man understood to be the A-list couple’s personal security restrains Solange and hits the emergency stop button in the lift, presumably to stop the brawl spilling out into the hotel reception area.

It’s still unclear what triggered the raging clash but moments later when the trio left the Standard hotel, Beyonce travelled with sister Solange while Jay Z took a separate vehicle alone.

The group later released a joint statement, saying: “As a result of the public release of the elevator security footage from Monday, May 5th, there has been a great deal of speculation about what triggered the unfortunate incident.”

“But the most important thing is that our family has worked through it.

“Jay and Solange each assume their share of responsibility for what has occurred.

“They both acknowledge their role in this private matter that has played out in the public.

“They both have apologized to each other and we have moved forward as a united family.”
