#SoundOff: Why I Always Knew Buhari Would Tank Nigeria

Must read

[dropcap]I[/dropcap] hate doing this…I promised myself I will not criticize President Buhari on my Facebook wall, but today I am asking God to forgive and grant me the liberty to write this one. It would probably be my last update on the state of Nigeria under President Buhari.

There’s no doubt Nigerians are suffering and dying in pains. No food, no jobs, no new businesses. People are losing their jobs and contracts. The economy is going down with naira crying daily for divine intervention.

Before the elections, I warned those that were eligible to vote in Nigeria not to vote for General Muhammadu Buhari. Some called me an unpatriotic hateful Igbo man. Some said that they couldn’t stomach my ruggedness. One of such is Pastor Sylvester Okere who lives in America. He blocked me on Facebook, and soon, I will visit his church in Maryland to find out the kind of sermons he preaches to his congregation.

All this was because of Muhammadu Buhari.

I remember calling Buhari ‘the empty one’, ‘the tall one’, ‘the brainless one’, ‘itiboribo’, okoko, iti, akidi, utara, confused one, ukpaka, uda, akilu, ‘the low energy one’ and nsogbu. Do I regret calling him these ‘beautiful names’? Absolutely, not!

Some said they wanted change. I knew General Buhari was completely empty and has nothing to offer and was solely interested in answering the title, Mr. President.

I am not a registered voter in Nigeria, but if I were to give an honest assessment on Nigeria, President Goodluck Jonathan was leading Nigeria on the right track of glory but he was not wanted by those that felt Nigeria belong to them.

They ridiculed and used western media to destroyed our country by given us a man that does not know how a 21st century global economy works.

I trusted Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala’s economic team. The agricultural sector and others were on the right track to glory.

Today, the same people blame Okonjo-Iweala, a globally respected economist for Nigeria’s present economic crisis.

The question none of them can answer, no matter how hard you ask, is, “If Jonathan and Okonjo-Iweala were so bad how come the Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, and other Western media are not saying the same things they said about Jonathan that Buhari and his men are saying?

Buhari and his men are making a mockery of themselves and the poor Nigerians who are suffering now under an empty president.

My fellow Nigerians, do not be deceived, your country is dangerously heading to hell on a fast route and it will take only God’s intervention to salvage Nigeria in bondage.

For those of you thinking Buhari will not win the next election – stop dreaming because the man will stay in Aso Rock till 2023. The only one capable of changing the equation is GOD and not your vote because your vote is powerless!
