[dropcap]M[/dropcap]any people I respect have counseled restraint in the outrage against the Audu boys regarding the claims of gang rape by @sugabelly. I hear them, and in another clime, in the clear evidence of enforceable laws and robust structures of justice I would agree with them.
Sadly, we are talking about Nigeria.
The Audus live in Nigeria. They are powerful people, wealthy from their father’s loot. Their father, by his own admission stole from us. These boys, by their lawyer’s dumb admission, had sex with a minor.

The Audus are lucky brats. There are no laws, no structures that these people respect. None. Because no one holds them accountable. I call it a failure of leadership. Nigerian writers and intellectuals are complicit, they are only coming forward to defend the rights of the animals that have raped us to death, look at them, silly writers and intellectuals taking selfies with Obasanjo and el-rufai, etc, defending their rights to be heard before pretend-courts.
I am tired of it. I don’t want to hear it. Let them go to court. Let them go to court. I stand by @sugabelly. She was gang-raped by the Audus. The Audus are guilty until a real court proves them innocent. Just as Obasanjo, Fashola, El-Rufai, Tinubu, IBB, etc are guilty of looting our treasury. Until a real court prices the thieves innocent. We have to start holding ourselves accountable. Starting with @sugabelly.
