Spirit and Life Devotional: Still So Much More

Must read

Spirit and Life Devotional is a daily publication by Pastor Chinaemerem Ibezim, senior pastor of Able Ministers Chapel, a church based in Calabar, Cross River State.

“For we know in part and we prophesy in part.” 1 Corinthians 13:9 NKJV

Every year, billions of dollars is spent on research. You know why? It’s because the researchers and their sponsors know that there’s still so much that we do not know: they know that things can be done better; they know that there are unknown cures; they know that there’s still so much of our planet and the universe that is still unknown. There are researches that have gone on for years and they won’t stop until they have found answers.

Every successful person recognises and acknowledges their inadequacies. And that’s why they keep learning; that’s why they pay to attend seminars; that’s why they have mentors, and also enrol in schools. They do all that to expand their visions; to improve their processes; to get more results and to be more productive.

In this day and age you cannot even afford to be nonchalant. You cannot also rely on yesterday’s knowledge and ways of doing things. You will either be swallowed, overtaken or become useless and irrelevant. It’s not an insult: if people around you are more useful, it means that you have automatically become useless! I’m challenging you today to become hungry for wisdom, for knowledge and for understanding. You may even be a champion where you are, but you’ve got to make sure that you are a global champion and not a local one.

You will succeed in Jesus name. Amen.
