Sex is pleasurable to most people and that’s why it’s one of the most common sins. Sex itself is not bad; but unlawful sex is not only bad, it’s dangerous. By unlawful I mean contrary to the will of God, because men and governments are authorizing abominable acts in our time; but that doesn’t make it right; it’s only right if God’s word says it is. Let all men be liars and let God be true.
Paul told the Corinthians not to keep company with anyone named a brother, who is sexually immoral, he said that they should not even to eat with such a person. Now that’s really serious! Hebrews 13:4 says that God will judge fornicators and adulterers!
Our bodies are the temples of the Holy Spirit. That’s enough to keep us in check. It’s not a fact that we should ignore at all. The Spirit of God dwells in us! There will be temptations, but we must learn to say no and flee. There are wayward people who demand for sex as a condition for their assistance: don’t give in whatever the consequences may be. God is able to do much more for you than any man on earth can. And He will if you are faithful and honour Him.
