II Corinthians 5:17 NKJV “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.”
The topic was to start with, “Your Past…” until it dawned on me that there’s no past! The New Creation in Christ Jesus has no past! Hallelujah! The New Creation is not a renewed man, he’s a new man without a past! Wow!
That your mind remembers what you did when you were a sinner, doesn’t mean God also remembers it. If you go to heaven now, you’ll see no records of your past there because it doesn’t exist! God didn’t just ignore your past, or open a new file for you, do you understand? The past was totally obliterated the moment you got born again!
Hebrews 8:12 NKJV says, “For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.” Hallelujah! God said, “I, even I, am He who blots out your transgressions for My own sake; And I will not remember your sins.” Isaiah 43:25. Amen!
So, dear child of God, don’t feel sorry or guilty about the past! Don’t feel threatened by it either; nothing you did then (physically speaking) has any effect on your today and tomorrow as long as you remain in Christ! I come against that dirty lying spirit that has been oppressing you in the name of Jesus! I cast it out right now! Be free, in the name of Jesus!
Yes, he who the Son of Man has set free is free indeed! Praise the Lord!
