Here’s what the ERV says: “A priest should know God’s teachings. People should be able to go to a priest and learn God’s teachings. A priest should be the Lord’s messenger to the people.”
Every child of God is a priest. And you know, Jesus asked everyone of us to go into all the world teaching all people to observe everything He said. Therefore, it is imperative that every believer has in depth knowledge of the word of God, especially of the words of Jesus.
I challenge you today to grow in knowledge. Let the words of Christ dwell richly in you. Let the Holy Spirit guide you into all truth. Read the Bible more than every other book! Listen to trusted ministers of the gospel who teach the truth and have better understanding of the scriptures. Ask questions as much as you can, and attend church regularly. Let growth be your goal.
