Faith simply means to believe. It’s believing the word of God. Faith is also acting on the word of God. When He says, “Come,” you come, and when He says, “Go,” you go. That’s faith.
As easy as it seems, a lot of us have difficulty believing God. We seem to have more faith in the things we see than in God. Faith doesn’t deny the facts; but faith believes God irrespective of the facts. The facts say that there’s no money in my bank account, and that there’s no likelihood that money will come from any source; but faith says, The Lord is my Shepherd I shall not want; He is Jehovah Jireh my Provider; He makes ways where there seem to be none; I believe God, God shall supply all my needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus!
Live a life of faith every day. Faith honours God because we esteem Him higher than our experiences, fears, and circumstances. God is faithful. That’s the basis of our faith. Faithful is He who promised, who also will do it. He will do it for you, in Jesus name. Amen.
