There’s a lot of confusion in the Church and in the world because you have people who claim to be saved and born again still living in sin, as if they have never heard the gospel. There’s really no difference between believers and the unbelievers; we listen and dance to the same songs, we cheat in business and at work; we engage in sexual immorality, and tell lies.
How then can we confidently say that we are new creations? We are either telling the truth about who we are or we are telling lies and deceiving ourselves. We are people with spots and so much dirt! But Jesus is coming for a holy church; for a people without stains!
Right now, you must forsake your sins and your old way of life if you’re truly saved. You see, someone must tell you the truth; and I’m glad to be that person. Proverbs 28:13 says that “He who covers his sins will not prosper, but whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy.” Going to church will not save you; being a worker in church will not get you a ticket to heaven: without holiness, no eye shall see the Lord!!!
