Many of us go to church, we read the Bible, hear the scriptures, but we have our own personal ideas of what’s right or wrong. Some people will actually tell you to keep the scriptures aside. That’s one of the most ridiculous statements I’ve ever heard from CHRISTIANS!
Do we really believe in the message that we received? You know, it’s not a belief just because it’s memorized, or because we recite it or read it; it’s a belief when we are practising it. For every belief there must be corresponding action.
The Bible is the final authority on every subject and area of life. There may be a million and one religions in the world; there may be other so-called “holy” books; there may be laws, rules and regulations of men; but only the Scriptures contains the truth. Man’s laws may permit it, but it’s what God says about it that is right. Let God be true, and all men liars.
I believe in the word of God with all my heart, and I make conscious efforts, by the grace of God, to live by it and to do everything it says. How about you? Do you really believe the Scriptures?
