“May God give you more and more grace and peace as you grow in your knowledge of God and Jesus our Lord.” – 2 Peter 1:2 NLT
The NKJV says, “Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord.” Wow! Not just an addition of grace; but a multiplication of grace! And you know, you can have more and more of it! Because God’s grace is sufficient.
James 4:6 says that He gives grace generously. That’s so amazing!
Maybe I should say a little about grace. Grace is the power of God. You see, on our own, there’s so much we cannot do, or cannot do well; in every area of life: in work, business, academics, relationships, upbringing of your children, living for Jesus and working for Him, etc. We are weak, and incapable of doing so much, and we often need help. The help that God gives is what’s called grace!
When you want to be able to do more, you need more grace. When you are going through tough and rough times, and it seems too much for you to bear, you need more grace. When you have been given bigger responsibilities, and you are wondering what to do, you need more grace!
Receive more grace now, in the name of Jesus! Amen!
